7:1
student-to-teacher ratio
ASOP’s low student-teacher ratio, compared to the national average of 15:1, allows us to provide a personalized curriculum while also focusing on building positive relationships.
Who We Serve
The reasons for enrollment are as diverse as the students themselves:
Gifted: needing a more challenging curriculum
Average: needing motivation to do more than just get by
Learning Challenged: needing a different approach to instruction.
A priority for ASOP is supporting students with emotional, social and mental health concerns.
Our Approach
At ASOP, we recognize and cultivate each student’s strengths and talents, while providing personalized instruction to meet his, her or their unique academic needs. Our approach includes:
daily report cards,
an effective reward system, and
realistic homework expectations.
Additional emphasis is placed on developing better executive functioning skills, study skills, and social skills.
